Our program operates on a recurring monthly subscription basis so instead of sessions you sign up for the month of swimming. The subscription includes 1 weekly lesson at the same swim time and date or a total of 4 or 5 lessons per month.

If you are registering for a class mid-month, you would pay a prorated fee for the remaining classes in the month, and regular recurring monthly billing would begin on the 1st of the next month.

The subscription automatically renews on the 1st of the month for the following month of swimming with your same swim time and date unless you choose to cancel.

While you register for classes on a monthly basis, your subscription automatically renews each month—keeping your preferred swim time and date.

However, there’s no contract, so you can cancel anytime with 30 days notice.

We require 30 days notice to drop your enrolment before your last lesson. To cancel, simply log in to your Parent Portal and drop your enrollment at least 30 days before your last lesson.

Registration for our classes begins by creating an account on our Parent Portal. Once you’ve created an account and added your swimmers, you can search for classes, see available classes and register for them or add yourself to a waitlist for a class. Click on this link to watch our step-by-step videos for registration!

We know life gets busy and kids get sick! If your child misses a class, we offer unlimited make-up tokens that you can use to rebook the missed class — here’s how it works:

To get a token:

  • Give us at least 3 hours notice before the missed class by booking a future absence through our parent portal. The token will be added to your account automatically once the class is missed — no action needed from you.

To use a token:

  • Login to your parent portal account online. Once there, click on “My Account” and then on the Makeups button. This will show you all the makeup tokens your swimmer has and let you use them to book a makeup class during any available time/date.

A few important rules:

  • Tokens expire 6 months after they’re issued
  • Your child must be actively enrolled (eg. your subscription hasn’t ended) to use your token
  • If you miss a make-up class, that token is gone — there are no second chances
  • Spots are first-come, first-served — we can’t guarantee a specific time, instructor, or location
  • Tokens have no cash value and can’t be transferred or refunded

Heads up – it’s a community effort: The earlier you let us know about an absence (through the Parent Portal), the better — it helps other families looking to book their makeup class by creating a space for them to swim and helps us plan staffing.

We know our approach works and that if kids attend their weekly lessons regularly, they will progress through our program and become confident and safe swimmers for life. However, after teaching over 250,000 lessons we know some skills can be trickier to master than others.

That’s why we offer a Learning Guarantee for all swimmers age 3 and up. Our Learning Guarantee states that if your child has not passed a skill in 10 lessons and has met the below criteria, they are entitled to one free private 30-minute Skill Blast lesson focused solely on the skill they are struggling with. To qualify they must:

  1. Attended 10 swimming lessons in their correct level (eg. if they are a K1, they are in a K1/K2 class), where they got into the water.
  2. Maintained continuous enrollment (no breaks of 2 weeks or more).
  3. Been regularly assessed by our instructors.
  4. Maintained 90% attendance in their classes.

In addition to our real-life focus, every month includes Safety Week training, where we work on core survival skills. Kids learn what it’s like to swim with their clothes on, how to call for and receive help, and more.
